Occasionally we have CD changers and climate control units available. Contact us for any other modifications you might be thinking of. If we can’t help you, then we can put you in touch with someone who can.
What we don’t offer;
We do not offer any services on the W220/W221 S class or the W215 CL class. We do not supply TV tuners nor will we tell you how to enable ‘Video in motion’.
Notes:
If you are thinking of buying a COMAND unit for a W203 C class do not be tempted to buy any part that starts with a A463. Although the units look identical to the A203 units, they will not work without modification.
If you are thinking of buying one of the newer W203 DVD based Comand APS units for your W209 CLK, then think again. Although very similar in size/shape, these units are not interchangeable between the W203 C and W209 CLK.
If you are thinking of buying a newer DVD based Comand unit for your pre-facelifted W209 CLK or pre-facelifted W203 C class, then please reconsider. Without major re-wiring of your car and new trim panels/mountings, these units will not work in your car.
If you are buying a comand unit for a car which does not have steering wheel controls, then make sure you get an A163 unit as these do not require CANBUS signals.
Full IPOD integration with your cars steering wheel controls / instrument cluster is only available for W169 A class, W245 B class, W203 C class (April 2004 onwards), W209 CLK (June 2004 onwards), W211 E Class, R171 SLK and W164 ML. An auxiliary input is available for earlier vehicles with COMAND but this simply allows playback through the cars existing head unit and does not offer any control of the IPOD from the steering wheel or any charging facilities.
